very pro-sharing
As far as I'm concerned, music is not a commodity. It's something that people have earned by being human. They have a right to hear it, and a right to share it, as they always have in churches and parties. That's how music happens.

kristin hersh is a fucking genius. the first time i saw TM was in boston in about 87. i've seen them about a dozen times since and bought most of her records both group and solo. if i could write a song a tenth as good as she can, i'd feel successful. as for performance, she literally appears possessed onstage, like few others i've seen [maybe joe strummer on a good night]. i want to be like kristin when i grow up.
