I first heard Run-D.M.C. almost 17 years ago when my cousin came to visit us and brought his "King of Rock" cassette. I always had a soft spot in my heart for Jay because he seemed like the quiet, overlooked guy. When I saw them at Irving Plaza a few years ago, it seemed like the whole crowd felt the same way. This sucks.
